Cornmeal and guava cake is a combination of the Gods and one of many people's favorite cakes. This is a classic of homemade cakes that is worth knowing how to prepare for breakfast or afternoon snack, especially when it starts with a chill.

Here at TudoReceitas we share with you this fluffy cornmeal cake recipe with wonderful guava paste to be made very quickly in a blender and with ingredients that we always have at home! Ingredients for making fluffy cornmeal cake with guava paste:

 1½ cups of cornmeal (cornmeal)

 1 cup unleavened wheat flour

 1 cup of sugar (160 grams)

 1 cup of milk at room temperature

 1 cup of oil (240 milliliters)

 4 eggs at room temperature

 1 teaspoon of chemical yeast

 ½ teaspoon of baking soda

 guava chopped into cubes (to taste)

How to make fluffy cornmeal cake with guava paste:

Prepare this cornmeal cake with a blender's guava paste by beating the eggs (yolks and whites) in a blender until frothy - do this for 2-3 minutes to get a fluffy cake!

Tip: Preheat the oven to 180ºC (medium oven).

Then add the milk, oil and sugar in a blender and beat again to mix everything.

In a bowl place the cornmeal and wheat and mix. Open a small hole in the center, place the blender mixture there and incorporate everything with the help of a wire whisk, as in the photo.

Tip: In this recipe I used whole wheat flour, but the cake will be fluffier and more yellow if you use white wheat flour. If you like, you can add 1 teaspoon of fennel together with these ingredients.

Mix very well until the dry ingredients are incorporated with the liquids from the blender. Finally add the yeast and baking soda and mix lightly.

Place the cornmeal cake dough in a greased and floured pan and distribute the guava cubes. Bake at 180ºC for 40-45 minutes or until you pass the toothpick test.

Tip: Use a large cake tin, approximately 24 cm in diameter, as this cake grows a lot!

Remove the cake from the oven, let it cool a little and unmold. Serve it with freshly brewed coffee and enjoy this fluffy cornmeal cake recipe with guava paste inside. Enjoy your food!
